609 took 1st place for our gumbo in the "Chicken & Fish" category in the Mosaic Mentoring's annual fundraiser, Taste of the Tennessee Valley (2024) and in 2025 we took 2nd place for chicken and dumplings in the "Appetizer" category.
Michael was invited to compete in Huntsville's Rocket Chef 2025 benefitting Merrimack Hall. There were only 4 area chefs invited to participate. Rocket Chef provided the attached photos.
